The Nest is a planned residential community on a portion of Kenilworth Farm, on the existing 31.5m road to Chipinge town in Manicaland. The layout plan provides approximately 2,402 residential stands across high-, medium- and low-density categories, together with commercial, industrial, institutional and community uses. Phase 1 stands are offered on flexible payment plans from US$39 per square metre, inclusive of VAT and commission. Infrastructure is planned to include tarred roads, water and drainage, sewer reticulation and electricity connection, and graded roads are already in place on site. Chipinge is the headquarters of Chipinge District in Manicaland Province, about 170 km by road south of Mutare, at an elevation of 1,132 metres. It had a population of 34,959 at the 2022 census. The town is known for tea, coffee, macadamia nuts and dairy farming, and is recorded as the first place in Zimbabwe to grow tea. The Nest is brought to market by Hanameel Properties, a Harare-based property company and a Propertybook partner since 2022, with an established sales team supporting buyers.
